Tomorrow is Joey's 32 birthday! Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband! Since we had the day off from work today, we celebrated today! Joey's parents and grandmother and my parents both came for the day. We had a yummy lunch of brisket, potato casserole, black-eyed peas, crunchy strawberry romaine salad, rolls and birthday cheesecake! After lunch, Joey opened his presents from both parents, his grandmother and from me. I was so excited for him to open it because he didn't have any idea and because I knew he would like it, so I couldn't wait until tomorrow to give it to him. To make it really fun, I wrapped boxes with in boxes for him to unwrap. Each box had a little something that gave a hint to the gift.
I gave him the Clubhouse Combo - tickets to the Colonial golf tournament on Saturday the 31st and then to the Rangers vs Astro game on June 16th. We will have fun next weekend enjoying the first part of the combo together!!
