Keaton Update

No pictures to share, but I do have a quick report!  I just got in from the 34 week checkup.  Everything is looking good.  Keaton is measuring a little big, so the doctor wants to do a sonogram around 36 or 37 weeks to get an idea on his weight, position, etc.  So, in a few weeks I will have pictures to share! Getting so close! 

Nursery Part 3

We finally got the curtain rod we needed to finish hanging the curtains in the nursery!   We bought the white curtains and then I had the idea to sew on the ribbon to add a little color.  Of course we all know that I have not sewing skills, so Donna did the sewing.  This was one of those ideas that I had in my head, but wasn't sure how it would turn out and it turned out just as I had pictured! :)  Yeah!  So now, we have everything done that we can up to this point!

Fine Dining

Tonight was a first - we dined on our china.  We were blessed in our wedding showers to recieve many different sets of dishes.  The first year of our marriage the china was packed away in boxes.  Every since it has been in the top cabinet.  I always intend to get it down for a special occasion or anniversary dinner, but it seems that our anniversaries are always spent somewhere other than home.  So one of my "things to do"this summer was to get the china down and use it.  When Joey came home he was wondering if he "missed" something!

We had crunchy onion chicken, broccoli and rice, carrots, and squash casserole.  It all seemed to taste better on the fine dinnerware.  :)  We had to have dessert so we could use the dessert plate as well, so I made a cheesecake too.

We enjoyed our fine dining!
