2 in a row - weekends to Lubbock for me! It was great to have cousin time two weekends in a row! The thing I miss most about Lubbock is cousin time. (Okay, so maybe Target rates right up there next to them!) This weekend was even better because Joey also got to go and because we got to see lots of family!
Friday we drove straight to Lubbock to Charlie and Amy's house and got there just in time to play with Abbye for a few minutes before she went to bed. Saturday, morning we got up and had Valentine's breakfast at the Turner Bed and Breakfast. Courtney, Brooke and Brian also came over, so we had cousin breakfast. Courtney brought her amazing chocolate covered strawberries stuffed with cheesecake! They were so yummy with french toast! Joey and I managed to make it to Target before we met Mom, Dad, Gran, Hollye, Gary, Charlie's parents, and the cousins at Dion's for lunch! It is a new pizza place in Lubbock that is really tasty! Then we made a quick run to Kohl's before heading north to Canyon for Tarleton's basketball games.

During the game, I got to go and have dinner with Angela, a college friend and a bridesmaid in our wedding. She lives an hour and half from Canyon and drove over so we could catch up with each other. We have not seen each other since our wedding. It was so great to see her and visit with her! Thanks Angela for driving over!
Then on Sunday, we began our trip home with a stop in Snyder for church and lunch with my parents and Jason and Jaxon (Jami was home with a sick Jaden). and then we stopped in Abilene for a visit with Bill, Donna and Granny!
We had a wonderful weekend!
