On Tuesday, Joey left to go to Bartlesville, Oklahoma for the conference basketball tournament and after school, I met Mom, Dad and Gran in Abilene. Gran came home with me to spend the week while Joey was gone. During the day while I was gone, Gran kept busy with her book and puzzle. I decided that her puzzle looked like Abbye and Kenna playing with the baby shoes. Mom said that since Gran couldn't play with Abbye and Kenna this week that she had to settle for a puzzle of them. In the evenings, Gran and I made trips to Dollar Tree and Walmart. Mom and Dad came Friday afternoon to spend the weekend and to get Gran to take her back home on Sunday.
The Finished Puzzle of Abbye and Kenna - I think Abbye is the one in yellow and Kenna in blue.
Joey was home earlier than expected due to tough losses by both the Women's and Men's basketball teams. If you are interested in more about the games, visit http://www.tarletonsports.com/. He got home on Friday afternoon, but has still been busy last night and today with softball, high school basketball playoff games, and wrapping up the basketball season.
Today, Dad went to Granbury to play golf and Mom, Gran and I have stayed around the house and done a few projects including decorating my table for Spring/Easter.
I can remember spending the night/week with Gran when I was a girl and now it is fun that she can come spend the week with me!
