thank goodness of course, I started it in the fireplace. And it was beautiful and warm. We took the opportunity to fire it up and watch it burn (though actually we are cooking and cleaning, so maybe later we can relax a bit and watch it).As seen in a previous post, we have been decorating for Christmas, and we got most of it done last weekend, minus the outdoor lights. On Monday, I put up what I didn't get up Sunday except for the strings on two of the ridges on the roof. Today when I got home from work, I did finished it out, and we think the house turned out pretty.
I don't know that we will say we are completely done, because it is always fun to buy and add more, but I think our wallets say "enough" for this year.

The fireplace scene could be the front of a Christmas card as could the outdoor scene. Just gorgeous!I know the neighbors will also enjoy while Cookie-ing!!!
lol
The fireplace looks so pretty. I have had a few anonymous comments on my blog and I have a feeling it might be a certain someone named Joey...hummm
I love the pics! We have a fire almost every night...just fun to look at while we do stuff around the house.
I was wondering which of the men was Amy's anonymous commenter...
