Super Teacher

On Friday, I was awarded the Super Teacher Cape! My principal started the Super Teacher Cape this year. It is for a teacher or teacher assistant who during the week expresses a characteristic of a super teacher. On the form, the person giving the cape writes the super characteristic. I was excited to be the first person to get the cape from Mrs. Longley. My super characteristic was "Bravery during the first week of school dealing with all of the first week stuff (crying, informing parents, hesitant parents, rules, etc.) and for doing it all TWICE!!" I do everything twice with my morning class and then my afternoon class. This year I have 14 in the morning class and 12 in the afternoon class. I have lots of fun kids this year, so it should be a super year too! Now, I get to keep the cape for a week and look for who to pass it to next.
Of course, I had to put on the cape for a picture pose!
