Easter Egg Dying

Two 3 year olds girls, Three boys one year old and younger, Five egg dye kits, and 36 eggs is a Easter Egg Dying Party!  Everyone gathered in Grampy and Starkye's backyard for the egg dying fun!

Spring Pictures

Monday night Keaton and I went to the park and met Alesha, one of the second grade teachers at school, for her to take pictures of him.  These are just a few:

Monday night I took Keaton to the park for a photo session with one of the teachers at school who is starting to do some photography.  It was pretty warm outside, so when we got home I let Keaton play in his diaper to cool off.

Monday at school, my classes made shape patterns on crowns.  There was a small piece of construction paper left from cutting their crowns that one of the girls found on the table.  She said, "We should use this to make a crown for Keaton."  So I told them they could and several of the girls contributed to Keaton's crown.  I told them I would take a picture of him wearing his crown to show them.

Saturday night, Keaton got his first experience at the football field.  The Tarleton Football Spring game was Saturday, and Keaton and I went for the BBQ fundraiser and watched the team warm up with Joey. I'm sure this will be the first of many trips to the football stadium.

6 Months

6 months, half a year has passed and we have been so blessed these past 6 months.  Keaton is such a joy in our life. 

At 6 months Keaton:

• rolls from his back to his stomach.
• rolls from his back to stomach and stomach to back to get to they toy he wants.
• has the cutest giggle!
• is very observant!  Love to watch what is going on.
• has decided that he really likes rice cereal.
• rolls over in his sleep and sleeps on his stomach.
• is beginning to eat baby food.  He has had green beans for his first vegetables.
• makes the cutest panting sound.
• love to be read too.
• is beginning to make diaper changes interesting!
• notices other's faces.
• likes to sit in Mommy's lap and play with her jewelry.
• plays with his tongue and often has it poking out of his mouth.

6 month stats:
Weight: 17 pounds 12 ounces
Length: 27 1/2 inches

I've Been Everywhere...

I've Been Everywhere, Man, I've Been Everywhere!

Keaton and I have been everywhere from Stephenville to Snyder, from Snyder to Lubbock, from Lubbock to Snyder, from Snyder to Arlington, and from Arlington to Stephenville - 726 miles.  Keaton did great in the car!

We went to Snyder on Friday night and then got up Saturdya morning and drove to Lubbock.

Our first stop in Lubbock was to meet Brooke and Brian's newest addition to their family, sweet baby Brodye. 

While we were there, Heather, Kenna and Dane also came over so Keaton had some fun with cousins.

Then we went to Abbye's 3rd birthday party. I didn't catch a picture of the birthday girl!

Keaton says, "Why are all those kids getting to bounce in the bounce house and ride on bikes and scooters, and I'm in the stroller?"  He had a great time just watching all the other kids.

"Uncle Gary aka Poppy, I thought you said you would get me some of that cake!"

"Well since I can't have any Mickey Mouse cake then I guess I'll settle for the cereal."

On Sunday we got up early and went to meet Joey to go to the Rangers game.  See the previous post for pictures and details from Keaton's first Rangers game.  We went everywhere and we had so much fun doing it!
