First Day at JanaMaw's

Monday was Keaton's first day at JanaMaw's house.  He is the only little baby and the only boy.  He has done great!  He takes a good nap at her house in the afternoon which I love because then he stays awake in the evenings to play with Mom and Dad.  Jana says that he really enjoys watching the girls play.  One of the girls who is about 2 years old has already given Keaton the nickname of "Kek" (long "e" sound).   We are so blessed to have found a babysitter who will love Keaton!

3 months

Today is fun in that it is my birthday and Keaton's 3 month mark! 

He is growing so fast!  I have had to pack up several of his 0 to 3 month clothes because they are too short.  As you can tell from these pictures it is about time for these cute overalls to be packed away!

We hope you all had a very happy new year!  We were extremely blessed in 2010 and are looking forward to the many fun times ahead in 2011!

Four Generations

On Sunday afternoon, we went to Midland to see Granny Rotan (my Dad's mom).  It has been a while since Zach, Joey and I have seen her, and we wanted to take pictures with Keaton.

Christmas Part Three

We continued the Christmas fun at Gran's house.  All the Suvs rolled in through the day for a house full of people, fun and good food!

My First Christmas

Keaton got lots of good attention!  Brooke and Crenie (Andra) telling Keaton all about his next cousin Brodye.

Christmas Part Two

After Christmas in Abilene, we drove to Snyder.  Keaton and Uncle Zach played for a bit, and Keaton rolled over for the first time.  If you haven't seen the video, you can see it here.  I think Keaton is going to be like his Mommy and always wake up earlier on Christmas morning.  When most mornings he wakes up around 7:00, Christmas morning he woke up around 6:00.  After feeding him, we woke up Uncle Zach and went to see what Santa brought Keaton.

Christmas Part One

We began Keaton's first Christmas in Abilene.  We loaded up on Wednesday and headed west.

It was the first time that Cody, Jaden, Jaxon, and Keaton have all been together, so we had a photo session.

Christmas tradition at Granny's house includes everyone choosing a Christmas carol for us all to sing.  We go around the room and sing the carols before opening presents.  Keaton really enjoyed the singing.
